The site is run by two people. The fastest way to reach either of us is plain old email. We typically reply within two or three working days; if something is urgent (a calculation that is giving the wrong answer, a broken link), please put “urgent” in the subject line and we’ll see it sooner.

Reporting a mistake in an article
We genuinely want to hear about errors. The most useful messages include:
- the URL of the article;
- which paragraph or example is wrong (a quoted line is great);
- what the correct version should be, if you can.
We’ll fix it, push the update, and add a line in the article’s edit log thanking you (or, if you would rather not be named, just thanking “a reader”).
What we cannot do
We do not solve homework problems by email. There are not enough hours in the day, and it would not actually help anyone learn. The articles and the embedded calculators are designed to walk you through the method — if a particular step does not make sense, write to us and we will try to make the article clearer for the next person.
Mailing address
We do not maintain a physical mailing address; this is a two-person remote operation. For any formal correspondence, please use the email address above.
